Rajbiraj, November 29 Police paraded two persons for their alleged involvement in planning to detonate a bomb and another person, who was held with a gun, at a press meet organised at District Police Office, Saptari today. Police said Tej Narayan Yadav, 40, of Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality and Sanjaya Kumar Raya, 30, of Bishnupur Rural Municipality, who planted a pressure cooker bomb in a paddy field, were made public at the DPO today. Police said the remote control of the bomb and other materials were also seized from them. SP Mukesh Singh said the explosive device did not go off as the remote control went dysfunctional due to some reasons. Police, having received information on time, acted promptly thus averting danger, the police officer said. A Nepali Army bomb disposal team defused the bomb. Similarly, police made public Surya Narayan Sutihar, 34, of Hanumannagar-Kankalini Municipality at the same press meet. Police said Sutihar was arrested with a gun and three rounds of bullets yesterday. SP Singh said Sutihar might have kept the weapon with him to obstruct the election.
