KAPILVASTU: A person was found dead in Chandrauta of Shivaraj Municipality in Kapilvastu district on Sunday morning. According to the Chandrauta Area Police Office, the deceased who appears to be in his late 40s is yet to be identified. After preliminary investigation, police suspects cold weather as the cause of death. It has been learnt that the deceased — with a history of mental illness —  was seen begging around the Chandrauta area and passing his nights in pavement for months. Locals after seeing the bearded man's body in old clothes in front of Fafuri Complex this morning, reported the incident to the Chandrauta APO. Recently, temperature has dropped significantly around many Terai districts affecting daily life.
