KATHMANDU: Former Deputy Prime Minister and Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said that the National Assembly should be constituted through single transferable voting system (STVS). Speaking at a programme organised to congratulate him on parliamentary election victory, Singh said, “The government had sent the ordinance relating to form the National Assembly two months before the recent parliamentary polls but it was still in the office of the President, which is not good.” He also said that NC will sit in the opposition respecting the public mandate.
