LAHAN: A motorcyclist died and pillion rider sustained injuries in a road accident at Raypur of Siraha district, along the Rajbiraj-Rupani road section last night, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Utim Lal Mandal (26) of Rupani Rural Municipality-2 in the district.

The incident occured when a motorcycle (Sa 5 Pa 1703) collided with a tractor heading to Rupani from Rajbiraj.

Similarly, injured Mahendra Prasad Ishar (46) of the RM-3 is undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
