KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Secretary Pradeep Gyawali has claimed that the new government led by CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli will be formed within three weeks. According to Gyawali, the new government will prioritise country’s development and political stability. Speaking at an interaction programme on Saturday, Gayawli said, “Strong nationalism, good governance, political stability, positive changes in lives of Nepali citizens and rapid economic development are the major priorities of the new government.” Meanwhile, Gyawali expressed discontent over the current government’s reluctance in paving the way for new government despite the conclusion of elections. “The current government is creating hassles in handing over the government by extending the dispute on ordinance of National Assembly formation,” Gyawali said, “It is against the public sentiments, thus, we bring into attention that we cannot delay the new government formation.” Moreover, Gyawali claimed that the phone call to top leaders of major parties by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cleared the air among Nepal and India. According to Gyawali, CPN-UML has a policy to keep Country’s well-being at the centre-point and participate in economic development of both neighboring nations. “A railway from Kyirong to Lumbini via Kathmandu and Pokhara will be built,” Gyawali said, “Likewise, we also want to establish a high speed railway from Birgunj to Pashupatinath.”
