BARDIBAS: Minister without portfolio and MP-elect from Mahottari-1 Girirajmani Pokharel has expressed his commitment to work throughout his life for the prosperity and advancement of the country.

Speaking at a press meet held in Bardibas of Mahottari district on Sunday evening, the CPN Maoist Centre leader also pledged to dedicate himself for implementation of the constitution and to make it widely acceptable.

He said that he would constantly strive to increase people's access to education, health, and other infrastructure in Mahottari district, which falls behind in Human Development Index (HDI).

Also a former education minister, leader Pokharel said moral education should be included in primary school curriculum.

Commenting on the latest political development, Minister Pokharel expressed his view that the Prime Minister should take the initiative to amend the national assembly ordinance after taking the political parties into confidence.
