KATHMANDU: White House College claimed the titles of football and cricket tournaments under the Subharmbha Inter-school Sports Meet here on Monday. In football final match, White House defeated hosts Modern Indian School 1-0. In cricket final, White House registered a 50-run victory over Delhi Public School of Bangladesh. Similarly, Whitefield defeated Modern Indian to win basketball title. DPS’s Tabab Billa was named the best player in cricket event, Rishav Katuwal of White House won the best player award in football and Piyush Agrawal of Modern Indian was adjudged the best player in basketball. A total of four schools competed in the four-day event organised by Subharambha Education Sports Tours Pvt Ltd.
