KATHMANDU: Celebrating its 11th anniversary, Global IME Bank organised a walkathon on Saturday.

Organised under the slogan ‘Let's Save', the walkathon was participated by the Bank's Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal, board members and staffers, as per a press statement.

The walkathon that commenced from the bank's Kantipath branch had taken the route of Durbarmarg, Kamaladi, Kamaladi Ganeshthan, Ghantaghar, Ratnapark, Shahid Gate, New Road, Bir Hospital, Jamal and concluded at the bank's Kantipath branch.

The bank has organised walkathons in Narayanghat, Nepalgunj, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Lahan, Pokhara, among other places outside the Valley.

In line with its plan to organise 11 different programmes to celebrate its 11th anniversary, the bank has already organised in-house futsal and blood donation.
