Vapour coming out from land is normal, say geologists

SUNDARBAZAAR, LAMJUNG: Geologists have dismissed the chances of any risk from the vapour coming out from the surface near Seyudibar settlement in Lamjung district. The experts that the vapour was not the sign of any national disaster, rather it was normal. Locals have been terrified after the hot vapour started coming out from a dry land in the morning and evening all of a sudden. The Mid-Marsyangdi Hydropower Project conducted an analysis from geologists after the news about the vapour coming out from the land in the project affected area. Geologist Anirudra Poudel said that the vapour coming out from the land was a normal event and urged the locals not to worry. However, the locals filed a complaint at the Ward Office and District Administration Office for the examination and security measures after the incident. READ ALSO:
