Prez Bhandari appoints three non-resident ambassadors

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on Friday has appointed non-resident ambassadors to three countries.

Rhishiram Ghimire has been appointed as the non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Russian Federation.

Likewise, the Head-of-the-State appointed Nepali Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Jhabindra Prasad Aryal, as the non-resident ambassador for Jordan, and Nepal's Ambassador to Canada, Kali Prasad Pokhrel, as the non-resident ambassador for Jamaica, the Office of the President informed.

The appointments were made in accordance with the Article 282 (1) of the Nepal's constitution.
