Chitwan, January 26 Nepali Congress leader Bal Krishna Khand today said there was a need for reform in party rather than complete change of the leadership. Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union Chitwan Chapter at Bharatpur Airport today, leader Khand argued that changing party leadership at this time would fuel dispute and dissatisfaction within the party. He was of the opinion that the party should be reformed as per the provincial structure. “It would not be fair to blame the leadership alone for the humiliating defeat of the party in the recently held elections,” said Khand. He claimed that the NC led coalition government was making decisions as per people’s aspirations. Khand clarified that his party would play the role of a constructive opposition in the Parliament. Meanwhile, leader Khand claimed that his party would emerge as the largest force in the next election. He pledged to bolster party’s strength by ending factionalism seen in the party.
