LAHAN: A man was killed when the tractor he was driving overturned at Banthiya of Arnama Rural Municipality in Siraha district on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Jitendra Mandal of Gauripur area in Arnama Rural Municipality-4. According to police, the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 5137) plunged onto the field by the roadside and overturned that killed Mandal on the spot. Mandal died after the overturned vehicle's engine pressed against his body, the Sillaura Pachhware-based police post informed. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been handed over to his family members, said police.
