Lawmakers searching for flats

By Himalayan News Service

BHAIRAHAWA: With Butwal being temporary headquarters, lawmakers of Province 5 are now on a lookout for flats to rent in and around Butwal. “I visited three flats in Butwal but as they were expensive, I’m now thinking of renting out a flat in Belbasa or on its outskirts,” said a provincial lawmaker who was found in Butwal Bazar on Friday. As the lawmakers will be busy in the provincial assembly proceedings for a few days after the first meeting and won’t get a break, they want to find a place to stay before that. Twenty of the total 67 lawmakers of the province require rented apartments in Butwal.
