KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday reported two cases of theft from various locations of Kathmandu on Wednesday. Property worth around Rs 390,000 were stolen from a house in Tarkeshwar Municipality-6 of Kathmandu district. According to police, an unidentified gang broke into the unattended house of Rajaram Khadka in Basnettar and made off with Rs 30,000 cash and various gold jewelleries. Similarly, property worth around Rs 343,000 were stolen from a house in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-7 of Kathmandu. An unidentified gang broke into the unattended house of Purushottam Bista in Purano Bista Gaun and decamped with Rs 20,000 cash and various gold jewelleries yesterday.
