Nepal dismisses Namibia for 138 runs

KATHMANDU: Nepal has bowled out hosts Nambia for 138 runs in the allotted 50 overs in the ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division 2 match in Windhoek on Thursday. To restrict home side for a low score, Sandeep Lamichhane claimed 4-18 in 8.2 overs while Sompal took three wickets giving away 35 runs. Likewise, captain Paras Khadka, Basant Regmi and Sharad Vewaskar claimed one wicket each in the match where Nepal decided to field after winning the toss. Craig Williams was highest scorer for home side as he smashed 34 runs off 41 balls while ZE Greeen and Jan Nicolaas Frylinck were two other notable contributors with 22 runs each.
