KATHMANDU: Inter-District Sports Club and Makwanpur Cricket Club won their matches of the Khukuri Challenger T20 Cup here at the Mulpani cricket grounds on Saturday. Inter-District saw off Butwal Cricket Boys by 22 runs, while Makwanpur beat Tikapur Cricket Club by 19 runs in Group D matches. In the day’s first match, Inter-District posted 126-9 in the match reduced to 17-over-a-side and restricted Butwal to 104-3. Similarly, Makwanpur scored 145-7 in 17 overs before Tikapur managed only 126-9. — HNS
