CM Poudel meets Australian envoy

Hetauda, February 21 Chief Minister of Province 3 Dormani Poudel today met Australian Ambassador to Nepal Peter Budd in the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Hetauda. In a meeting with Australian Ambassador to Nepal, CM Poudel discussed possible support from the Australian government for the development of Province 3 and was all praise for the government of Australia for the support it had provided to Nepal so far. He also expressed his wish to work with the Australian government to establish technical academy in Province 3. CM Poudel said that Australia had become the first choice of Nepali students over the years. “Cooperation between the two countries is a must to create new job opportunities in the country,” he added. Similarly, Australian envoy Budd said the Australian government was ready to join hands with the provincial and federal governments of Nepal in education and health sectors. He congratulated Poudel for being elected as the first chief minister of federal Nepal. At the meeting, secretary at Council of Ministers Reshmi Raj Pandey, Secretary Ramesh Siwakoti, former chairman of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Kush Kumar Joshi were also present.
