KATHMANDU: Prem Raj Joshi has been appointed the Spokesperson for the Nepal Student Union (NSU).

NSU confirmed that President of the student union Nain Singh Mahar, on Sunday, had handed over the responsibility of one of the key posts within the organisation to Joshi of Kailali district, who has also remained the co-general secretary of NSU.

NSU hopes that Joshi would contribute to further strengthening the organisation as its spokesperson.

The Union — affiliated to Nepali Congress — is one of the major political student wings in the country.
