BHOJPUR: A person died and another sustained injuries after being struck by lightning in two separate incidents in Province 1. A person was killed in a lighting strike in Mahalakshmi Municipality-9 of Dhankuta district on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as local Khamba Singh Tamang (55), according to the Sindhuwa-based Police Post. Similarly, Shanta Ale Magar (23) of Charambi, Arun Rural Municipality-4 in Bhojpur district was injured in another lightning strike during the rainfall on Sunday evening, informed District Police Office, Bhojpur. Ale Magar has been undergoing treatment in a local health facility, said police.
