NAWALPARASI: A vulture conservation campaign has been initiated by setting up an environment to provide safe food to the vultures in Nawalparasi district. In its bid to conserve the vultures, Jatayu Restaurant, the first of its kind for vultures in Asia, has been setup in Kawasoti Municipality-8 to collect food for vultures. Chairman of Jatayu Restaurant Management Committee Dan Bahadur Chaudhary said that the Small Grants Programme (SGP) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has supported the vulture conservation effort. Chaudhary said the vultures have been freed in the natural habitats of Nawalpur from the Kasara-based breeding centre of Chitwan in order to protect the endangered species. READ ALSO:
