KATHMANDU: President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, has congratulated President Bidya Devi Bhandari on her assumption of office for the second term as Head-of-the-State, today. According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, the Chinese President has expressed his readiness to work together to promote the bilateral relationship between both the countries as China attached great importance to the development of China-Nepal relations. President Bhandari was re-elected to the post on Tuesday and took the oath of office and secrecy at Shital Niwas on Wednesday.
