Kathmandu, March 31 The ongoing meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee has been postponed until further notice. The meeting is being held since March 23 to review the party’s humiliating defeat in provincial and parliamentary elections and chart a course for the party’s revival. The meeting slated for tomorrow was postponed to mourn the death of NC CWC member Khum Bahadur Khadka. Khadka passed away yesterday. He had been undergoing treatment in New Delhi, India. Leader Khadka’s mortal remains will be brought to Kathmandu tonight at 9:00pm on a Jet Airways flight. The body will be kept at his residence in Sapepa until 9:00am tomorrow, before being taken to the NC central office. Khadka’s body will be kept at the party’s headquarters until 1:00pm tomorrow for those wishing to pay their final respects. He will be cremated tomorrow at Pashupati Aryaghat, according to a NC statement.
