POKHARA: Disable Sports Committee and Independent Living Society are jointly organising the sixth Gorkha Jewellery National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at the Pokhara Stadium from April 4-5. A total of six teams — Tribhuvan Army Club, Jawalakhel Wheelchair Sports Club, Spinal Cord Injury Sports Association, Wheelchair Sports Association, Nepalgunj Wheelchair Sports Association along with a team of the organisers — will take part in the two-day tournament, informed the organisers. Top three teams will receive Rs 40,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. Gorkha and Baraha Jewellery Industry is the main sponsor, while Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City is the co-sponsor of the tournament.
