SAPTARI: Saptari District of Province 2 has been declared as Open Defaecation Free Zone amid a ceremony on Wednesday. Minister for Physical Planning and Infrastructure Development of Province 2, Jitendra Sonal made the announcement to this effect and applauded the district’s achievement. District Sanitation and Hygiene Co-ordination Committee Member Secretary Lokendra Prasad Bhattarai informed that 119,682 households built toilets in the district making it an Open Defecation Free Zone.
