MELAMCHI: Nepal APF Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club in straight sets to win the title of the second Open Men’s National Volleyball Tournament on Saturday. APF recorded a 25-17, 25-23, 25-22 win against TAC. Likewise, Western Regional Volleyball Association beat Young Star Club 25-17, 25-19, 25-19 to finish third. Top three teams earned Rs 152,000, Rs 82,000 and Rs 52,000 respectively, while APF’s Laxman Rana was named the best player and got Rs 7,000. — HNS
