BHAKTAPUR: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the security bodies to be alert to cope with the security challenges.

Speaking in a programme organised to confer commissioner posts on Nepal Army cadet following the training at Nepal Army Academy on Thursday, PM Oli underscored that the security agencies should be alert as security challenges might be seen at any time.

Some extremist forces were active to spread violence in the country, so security forces' role is imperative to tackle them, the PM added.

PM Oli urged the security forces to ensure strong coordination and management to address the latest security challenges including the cyber crime. He praised the role of NA, saying it has popularised the country across the globe.
