The Council of Ministers few days ago accepted the proposal about new organisational chart of reconstituted ministers, said Spokesperson at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Shivaram Neupane.

'Works are progressing to determine the structure of reconstituted ministries as approved by the Cabinet meeting,' he said. The Cabinet meeting approved a quota for 2,694 people in 21 ministries, deciding to restructure the ministries.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has the maximum quota of 233 while the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has 46 quotas. The number of ministries was downsized to 21 from 31 as per the government decision.
