POKHARA: Chief Minister of Province 4 Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that equal educational opportunities are the priority of the provincial government. Speaking at an inaugural ceremony of the National Students' Enrollment Campaign-2075 in Pokhara today, Gurung stressed, “Each and every class and community in the society should have an access to quality education, seeking attention of both people in education field and guardians to improving educational atmosphere in the country.” 'Quality education is a must to address the problem of unemployment,' he asserted, expressing his concern over inability of community schools to maintain quality education despite having sufficient resources. On the occasion, he enrolled Shila Jirel and Abhishek Nepali, both five, to nursery class at Shreekrishna Secondary School in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolis- 7 and took their guardianship as well. Both children are from the deprived and poor community.
