NEPALGUNJ: Two persons, arrested with an illegal firearm, were made public in Nepalgunj on Monday.

Pramod Kumar Chamar and Shova Ram Yadav, both of Janaki Rural Municipality-6 of Banke district, were made public in a press conference organised by the Federal Police Unit Office, Nepalgunj, along with the illegal firearm and its bullets.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pradeep Kumar Singh, a homemade pistol and  three rounds of bullets were confiscated from the arrested duo.

Police confiscated the illegal firearm hidden within the pulsar motorcycle (Bhe 3 Pa 434) they were travelling on, during a random security check along the Kohalpur-Nepalgunj road section of Banke district, and arrested the duo.
