Three killed, sixteen injured in Doti jeep accident

DHANGADHI: Three people lost their lives after a jeep en route to Mudhbara from Kalagadh in Doti district met an accident at Shikhar Municipality-3 on Saturday afternoon. Suresh Bhul (14), Khinturi Bhul(40) and Kati Sarki (32) died on the spot after the jeep bearing registration Se 1 Kha 5275 fell some 50 meters down the road, Police said. Likewise, sixteen persons have sustained injuries in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at Saileshwori Hospital in Dipayal. Moreover, five out of the sixteen are in critical condition and have been referred to Kohalpur Medical College. It has been learnt that the incident site is 25 kilometres away from district headquarters, Silgadhi. According to the Police, poor road condition caused the accident.
