KATHMANDU: An elderly man died after falling below a hill in Arun Rural Municipality-3, in the east of the Bhojpur, the district headquarters on Thursday evening. The deceased has been identified as 72-year-old Ratna Bahadur Bhujel of Pyauli area in the rural municipality. Bhujel fell about 10 metres below while he was cutting bamboo in a grove beside his house, at around 6:00 pm yesterday, according to the Bhojpur District Police Office. He was inflicted with serious injuries in his head, police informed. Criticaly injured Bhujel was rushed to Primary Health Post in Pyauli, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival at 7:35 pm, the police office informed. Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
