BIRGUNJ: As many as three houses have turned into cinders from fire spread at Jayamangalapur in Chiparmahi Rural Municipality-3 in Parsa district on Thursday, police said. The fire which started from a mosquito coil gutted the house of Anwar Miya before spreading to the neighbouring houses of Hamid Miya and Islam Miya in the wee hours today. According to Budagai Police Post, property worth Rs 600,000 have been destroyed in the incident. Likewise, three goats, food items and grains, apparels among others were gutted in the fire. Meanwhile, locals along with security personnel and fire fighters doused the inferno.
