KATHMANDU: Here’s a concert that will be rolled (literally) out for you in your very neighbourhoods. This concert is none other than ‘Surya Lights Music Pop Express — Music on Wheels’ brought to you by Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, the makers of Surya Lights cigarettes.

Starting on March 6 the Music on Wheels is a five-day extravaganza featuring popular music artistes like Nirnaya the NSK, Kranti Ale, Maushami Gurung and Kamalman Singh.

For the Concert on Wheels a stage has been constructed on back of a huge vehicle on which the artistes will perform. With 30,000 watts of booming sound system and adequate security measures being provided, the organisers assure that the audience can expect nothing but a good time.

According to brand manager of Surya Nepal Balkishen Gurung this concert is being organised to give added entertainment to all Kathmanduites.

According to Robin Sitaula of PartyNepal, the preparations have all been done and the Music on Wheels will start rolling from 11 am on March 6 from Bhuikhel grounds at Swayambhu. The concert will then move on to Lainchaur grounds and wow the crowds from 4 pm onwards.

March 7, the concert will begin at 11 am at Samakhusi town planning area and will reach Jawalakhel gro-unds at 3:30 pm. On March 8, Patan Durbar Square will get a blast of this unique concert at 11 am, which will then roll on to Chhuchepati at 3:30 pm, while on March 9 it will be the Sifal Chaur near Gaushala that will be hosting the concert at 11 am and the Sankhata area near New Road will be place to be from 3:30 pm. The final day of the concert March 10 will see performances at Panitanki grounds, Minbhavan at 11 am and at Galfutar at 3:30 pm.
