KATHMANDU: Indian multinational coffee brand, Café Coffee Day (CCD), has opened its second outlet at Basantapur on Sunday. A year back, Café Coffee Day had opened its first outlet in Kumaripati of Lalitpur. Issuing a press statement, officials of Café Coffee Day said that the coffee outlet, which has an investment of more than Rs 10 million, will offer different varieties of coffee and fast food items. “We have opened the new outlet targeting the increasing coffee drinking culture in Nepal and we intend to establish Café Coffee Day as the largest coffee chain in the country,” reads the press statement.
