HETAUDA: A meeting of Parliamentary Party of the Nepal Communist Party of Province 3, on Sunday, elected Chief Minister Dormani Poudel as parliamentary party leader unanimously. The meeting, held in Hetauda, also decided to express gratitude for the unification between the then CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Centre. There are 80 province assembly members in Province 3 including 57 from the then CPN-UML and 23 from CPN MC. Chief Minister and newly elected PP leader Poudel said that the meeting was postponed till 9:00 am on Monday. Similarly, in today's meeting of the provincial assembly, Speaker Sanu Kumar Shrestha announced that a post of province assembly member had fallen vacant as per the constitution after the death of province assembly member from Bhaktapur 1 (A), Hari Sharan Lamichhane. The next meeting of the province assembly has been called for 2:00 pm on Monday.
