WALING, SYANGJA: A man died and four others sustained injures when two bikes collided along the Galyang-Mirmi road section in Syangja district, on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Sunar of Harmichaur in Gulmi district, and injured as Ajit Sunar (22) of Galyang Municipality-3, Madan Pandey (20) of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-2, Dilip Rana (23) of Galyang Municipality-2 and local Sushil Subedi (22), all from Syangja district.

The incident occurred when the motorcycle (Lu 32 Pa 9979) en route from Mirmi to Galyang collided head-on with another motorcycle (Lu 35 Pa 1633) en route from Galyang to Mirmi near Jagatredevi, killing one and injuring four others, informed Galyang-based Police Post.

The injured have been undergoing treatment at Palpa-based Mission Hospital.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
