Rajbiraj, June 14 A single woman was allegedly thrashed for refusing her nephew’s sexual advances in Rajbiraj Municipality-7, Saptari. The incident came to light after Sunita Mandal, 35, filed a complaint with the police today. In the complaint, the woman has accused her nephew Nabin Mandal, 25, of misbehaving with her on Wednesday night. “It was about 10:30 pm when he came home heavily drunk and upon seeing me alone in my room proposed to sleep with me. When I refused, he used force and beat me black and blue,” the complaint reads. Police had rescued the woman at about 11:00 pm and got her admitted to Gajendra Narayan Singh Zonal Hospital. Sunita’s husband had died in an accident some eight years ago.
