KATHMANDU: Health practitioners across the country will shut their services, other than emergency care, today following a call from Nepal Medical Association (NMA) to shutdown hospital services in a bid to attract government's attention toward Dr Govinda KC's deteriorating health. The NMA has also announced plans to gather at Maitighar Mandala at 1:00 pm today to mount pressure on the government. On Wednesday, the association, through a statement, said that if the government fails to respond to the current situation with sensitivity, on time, the medicine practitioners will have to resort to an indefinite strike.
