KATHMANDU: A Nepal Army chopper carrying Dr Govinda KC, medical and army personnel has landed in Kathmandu. It has been learnt that Dr KC is being taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. Earlier, Dr Govinda KC was taken to the Nepal Army barrack in Jumla from where he was airlifted to Surkhet. A few rounds of tear-gas shells were fired in order to dismiss the local people who had gathered at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences to obstruct the security personnel from taking Dr KC to the barracks. The doctor had agreed to come to the capital after the protests turned violent injuring scores of people.
