Nawalpur's Oxford College gets int'l award for leadership in quality

CHITWAN: Oxford College of Engineering and Management (OCEM) in Gaindakot Municipality of Nawalpur district has received an international award for leadership in quality. The college was awarded 'International Star for Leadership in Quality 2018' amid the 22nd international convention held in Paris, the capital city of France on July 1. In a press meet organised at Oxford College today, Principal Engineer Hari Bhandari said that the award given to the college was a matter of national pride. Business Initiative Directions (BID), a Madrid-based organisation bestows the award on institutes and organisations excellent for quality, leadership and management every year. Principal Bhandari said that specialists from ninety countries evaluate various institutes, firms and organisations across the globe and nominate them for the international choosing committee. The committee then picks an organisation based on the evaluation of factors such as customer satisfaction, innovation, research and development, continuity, education, post sales services, Quality ISO 9001, environment, recycle, business excellence, TQM implementation, profitability performance growth, brand, marketing, leadership and management.
