Tipper knocks down biker fatally in Hetauda

HETAUDA: A motorcyclist died on the spot and the pillion-rider sustained injuries after being knocked down by a tipper at Hetauda-17 of Makawanpur district on Sunday, police said. Makawanpur District Police identified the deceased as Tanka Neupane (25) of Hetauda-17 in the district. The vehicle (Na 7 Kha 7333) heading to Shivam Cement Industry in Hatiya from Hetauda hit the two-wheeler (Lu 42 Pa 7070) going in the same direction this afternoon, police said. Meanwhile, the injured victim, who received primary treatment at Churehill in the district, has been referred to Bharatpur for further treatment, according to police. It has been learned that the victims are siblings.
