POKHARA: Co-coordinator of Nepali Congress of Pokhara Metropolitan City-33, Saroj Adhikari, has passed away from altitude sickness. NC leader Adhikari suffered from altitude sickness on his way to Tilicho Lake in Manang district. He was brought to Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara in a helicopter for treatment. However, he was pronounced dead on admission to the health facility on Wednesday morning. He was 35. Final rites of leader Adhikari will be carried out Wednesday itself at Chirkadi Ghat, on the banks of Seti River, according to a family source.
