Two arrested for possessing narcotic drug

POKHARA: A team of law enforcement officers from District Police Office, Kaski on Thursday held two youths from Newroad, Pokhara on charges of narcotic drug possession and trade. Police officers caught 23-year-old Sandip Gurung of Ratna Chok, Pokhara and 30-year-old Abhinash Gurung of Parsyang, while the arrestees were trading drugs at Newroad, Pokhara. Likewise, police recovered 87 Diazepam, 87 Phenergan, 87 Brufin and 95 Nitrosun capsules from the Gurung-duo’s possession, informed DPO Spokesperson Rabindra Man Gurung. After filing a charge sheet at district court against the accused, officials have initiated further investigation into the case, police said.
