Pokhara, October 25 Nepali Congress Joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat has accused the government of being involved in the activities against the people and constitution. Speaking at a condolence meeting held by the party to mark the 13th day of the death of NC leader Chakra Prasad Bastola today, Mahat urged its leaders and cadres to expose the government. “There is rampant corruption in every sector, but the government is busy collecting revenue,” Mahat argued. Further, Mahat accused the government of imposing authoritarian rule. Mahat stressed the need for party leaders to uphold the party’s ideology. “Revitalising the party is impossible until we embrace the politics of ideology and follow the footsteps of late BP Koirala and visit each and every corner of the country with our programmes,” he added.
