Indian Police at Bagaha of Champaran district on Friday rescued six Nepali girls being trafficked to Delhi from Triveni area of Nepal.
Sita Tamang, Sunita Tamang, Prabina Tamang, Muthu Tamang, Dhanamaya Tamang and Rita Tamang were among the rescued, said Indian Police at Bagaha. The girls have been handed over to ATHIC, an NGO working against girl trafficking and process to hand over them to Maiti Nepal has been initiated, the Indian police told Nepali scribes.
