KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has formed different sub-committees for the preparation of its Mahasamiti meeting.

A meeting -- held under the chairmanship of Coordinator of Mahasamiti Meeting Local Management Committee and NC Kathmandu District Executive Committee President Sabuj (Krishna) Baniya -- formed different sub-committees, said Secretary at the NC Party Office, Pradeep Parajuli.

The meeting formed Food Management Sub-Committee to be led by Secretary of NC, Bhaktapur, Uddhav Silwal; Stage and Publicity Management Sub-Committee under Treasurer of NC, Kathmandu, Govinda Pudasaini; Volunteer Management Sub-Committee under Secretary of NC, Lalitpur, Bhimsen Ghimire; and Local Management Secretariat Sub-Committee has been formed under Secretary of NC, Bhaktapur, Nisha Dhungel.

Similarly, decision was taken to give responsibility of financial arrangement to presidents of the three districts.

A central working committee meeting of the NC held on August 25 decided to hold the Mahasamiti meeting in Kathmandu from November 21 to 25.
