Australian tourist dies while kayaking in Pokhara

POKHARA: A 23-year-old Australian national Cassandra Ecise Emary has died while kayaking at Seti river in Pokhara of Nepal, on Thursday, police said. Emary, who had sustained serious injuries, was pronounced dead by the doctors upon arrival at the Western Regional Hospital in the Lake City, according to Kaski District Police Office Spokesperson Rabindra Man Gurung. Meanwhile, police said an investigation is underway.
