LALITPUR: Pushpanjali, Little Angels’ and St Xavier’s Godavari School won their respective matches of the 23rd Father Moran Memorial Invitational Football Tournament here on Thursday. In the day’s first match, player-of-the-match Subin Karki scored a hat-trick as Pushpanjali beat Bright Future 3-0. In another game, player-of-the-match Suraj Tamang and Sonam Gurung netted one goal each as LA defeated Nepal Don Bosco 2-1 and advanced to the quarter-finals as Group A winners. Likewise, hosts SXG outplayed Eden Garden to make it to the last eight as Group B winners. Subhary Maharjan, Sizan BK and SaugatShahi scored one each for SXG. Samuel Pariyar of SXG was named the player of the match.
