President aggrieves Dang road accident

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed her sadness over the death of 23 people in an accident involving a bus carrying teachers and students returning from an educational tour in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-2 of Dang district on Friday.

विद्यार्थी र शिक्षक सवार शैक्षिक भ्रमणको बस तुलसीपुर दाङमा २०७५ पौष ६ गते दुर्घटनामा परी २२ जनाको निधन भएकोमा दुःख व्यक्त गर्दै शोकसन्तप्त परिवारप्रति समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछु । साथै दुर्घटनामा घाइते हुने सबैको शीघ्र स्वास्थ्यलाभको कामना गर्दछु ।

So far the death toll from accident that took place at 4:50 pm on Friday has reached 23. The bus (Ba 4 Kha 9766) en route to Tulsipur from Kapurkot of Salyan carrying students and teachers of Krishnasen Icchuk Technical School in Ghorahi, following the educational tour of the botanical garden in Mulpani of Kapurkot, Salyan, fell about 700 metres below the road at Ramri in Tulsipur.
