BAGLUNG: Three children were killed in a fire at Tara Village of Tarakhola Rural Municipality in Baglung district on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as local Dil Bahadur Gharti's six-year-old daughter Ritu, five-year-old son Aayush, and Rudra Bahadur Roka's six-year-old son Ronish, said ward chair Jit Bahadur Khatri. The children were playing in a cow shed of Yam Bahadur Khatri when the cow shed caught fire. The cause of the blaze is yet to be confirmed, Khatri said. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepak Regmi at District Police Office Chief, the cattle were taken out for grazing in the afternoon when the shed was engulfed in flames. Detailed report of the loss is yet to be received, he added.
